02 22 12 Liposuction and Plastic Surgery News Blog Social websites increase popularity of liposuctionLOS ANGELES, California – Liposuction is already one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the world, but as one Beverly Hills plastic surgeon has grown to learn, the sky is the limit when it comes to successful advertising.

Social group sites like Groupon and Living Social have opened the public’s eyes to treatments and experiences they might never have thought they could do, including liposuction. Plastic surgery options and discounts have been made available on these sites, and the Beverly Oaks Surgery center, located in Sherman Oaks, California, has taken advantage of this method of advertising.

“The business and marketing models have changed over the previous years,” explained Anna Sonbolian, public relations director of Beverly Oaks Surgery. “Over the last five years, the demographic has been shifting from more mature females to the younger generation. This new generation expects to be marketing in a certain way and we are adapting to it with great success.”

The Beverly Oaks Surgery center provides several different cosmetic treatments, including liposuction, rhinoplasty, breast augmentations, and many others. Unfortunately, since Los Angeles is among the most popular cities for plastic surgery, the center knew it had to do something to stand out from competitors, so it shifted its marketing campaign to cater to the increasingly popular social sites.

Just recently, the center launched a successful Groupon campaign which provided customers with up to $2400.00 worth in liposuction on a small or large area for only $999.00, an extraordinary value.

“The days of blindly spending money on television or radio ads are over. We are trying to offer solutions to a very targeted demographic that know exactly what he or she wants,” added Sonbolian.
