To the naked eye, Joanne Allen seems like a regular mom who happened to be blessed with a good metabolism. The 42-year-old eats whatever she wants and doesn’t appear to gain any weight.
However, Allen has a little secret that she is about to share with the whole world. She keeps slim and toned not by working out or dieting, but with liposuction.
Allen admits to having done seven rounds of liposuction, in addition to other cosmetic procedures. In total, she has spent £17,800 to look and feel her best.
“I’ve had over ten litres of fat sucked out of me since my first liposuction in 1999. I’d rather die than go on a diet,” admitted Allen. “I love food, so giving up my favourite chocolate, cakes and steak sandwiches would be torture.”
Adamant about not working out, Allen is a huge fan of liposuction and plastic surgery.
“Having annual liposuction means I can eat more than 3,000 calories a day without worrying and have the evidence sucked away,” she coyly remarked.
And boy, does Allen eat. Her calorie intake is roughly 50 percent over the recommended 2,000 per day for women.
Allen’s first liposuction surgery came after the birth of her son Jordan, now 12, in September 1999. Unfortunately, she lost the weight, but she didn’t lose her appetite for junk food and continued eating the way she previously had. Eventually, the pounds came back, spiraling years of cosmetic surgery.
Although liposuction is an amazing and fast way to lose unwanted fat, it is in no way a substitution for healthy dieting and regular exercise. If you have considered getting lipo, turn to one of our elite cosmetic surgeons to discuss which treatment is best for your body type and aesthetic goals.
