Posted in “Emmerdale” star Lucy Pargeter is no stranger to cosmetic surgery. However, the actress has revealed that she doubts she will ever be “fully satisfied” with the way her body looks.
Pargeter has already undergone two breast augmentation surgeries in addition to liposuction and Botox and she is not shy about admitting it.
“It used to be a real taboo ¬admitting you’d had things done but I never felt that,” said Pargeter. “I’ve always been very open about what I’ve had and why I’ve done it. The way I see it, if I want to have my boobs done or have a bit of lipo, I will do. It’s no-one else’s business really.”
The 34-year-old admitted that being in the lime light doesn’t help with her body image. Seeing herself on TV, especially on High Definition, isn’t easy for her and undergoing cosmetic enhancements has helped improve her self-esteem.
“You can see every line and wrinkle. That isn’t ¬something any woman would enjoy,” she admits. “My view is, if it [cosmetic surgery] gives you confidence and makes you feel good about yourself then it’s worth it. If I’m being honest I can’t imagine being fully satisfied with my body but that’s just me.”
