We all know that liposuction is one of the most common and sought-after cosmetic procedures in the world, but many people do a good job of hiding that they have gotten the treatment, especially those in Hollywood.
However, one singer has come forward, admitting he got liposuction recently.
Former American Idol star Clay Aiken admitted he decided to have a makeover for the new season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” which included liposuction.
Aiken admitted to having lipo performed on his chin while making an appearance on Tuesday’s “Watch What Happens Live” show.
“I had surgery on my jaw for a TMJ disorder thing, and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there,” said Aiken. “I was like, ‘You know what, while I’m already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin.’”
Aiken’s confession comes just a few days after another Hollywood star, Susan Sarandon, owned up to having liposuction on her face to remove some unwanted fat.
Liposuction is a popular cosmetic procedure offered around the globe to both women and men who cannot lose stubborn fat through diet or exercise alone. There are several types of lipo procedures, each catering to the vast and unique needs of each patient. Best of all, lipo procedures these days are so advanced that bruising and scarring has been reduced to a minimum – if at all – and recovery time can be as short as from one to seven days.
If you have considered getting liposuction yourself, turn to a leading and Board Certified plastic surgeon to see which method is best for you. You can choose from traditional surgical to completely non invasive methods, depending on what’s best for your body type and cosmetic goals.
